About Us

Newton Abbot Ramblers was formed in 1978 to provide a programme
of rambles, social events and associated matters.  It is a vibrant and
well supported club having over 300 members

You don’t have to be hyper-fit to join Newton Abbot Ramblers

We have  'A' and 'B' group walkers

On average an 'A' walk is 8 to 11 miles and a 'B' walk is 4 to 6 miles

The success of the club is because we have many people who are
willing to lead walks and new leaders are always welcome.  And for
those people who wish to become leaders, we have members who
can help and guide new members in navigation, map reading, GPS
and construction of walks.

We have 4 to 5 walks a week throughout the year and you can walk
with whichever group and on whichever day that suits you best

On Sunday there is an  'A' and 'B' walk
On Tuesday there is a 7 to 8.5 mile walk
On Wednesday there is an  'A' walk
On Thursday a 'B' walk

The programme is very varied Coastal and Moorland walking,
UK and European holidays plus coach trips and social events
